Our Story

Pogosi LLC takes its name from Pogo, the agency’s mascot, and the letters SI, short for Smart Insurance. For owner Antonio Hernandez, smart was never about having a better product than the next agency. It was about approaching every policy with intention. Too many people accept whatever coverage comes free with a job or the cheapest option online, only to find out later that it does not protect them from illness, disability, or the loss of income that a family depends on. Pogosi LLC was built to change that conversation, one client at a time, across Tucson and Southern Arizona.

As an independent broker, Antonio works with a growing list of carriers rather than a single company’s menu, giving clients access to dozens of options instead of one. He is also a licensed financial advisor, which means a conversation about auto or home insurance can just as easily uncover a gap in life insurance, retirement savings, or mortgage protection. Where a big box insurer or an online only provider sells a single policy and moves on, Pogosi LLC builds a relationship, explains the fine print, and customizes coverage around each client’s real financial future.

Every client works directly with Antonio Hernandez, owner and lead advisor, supported by a growing network of carrier partners.

Community Presence

Giving back is part of Pogosi LLC‘s mission. For about eight years, the agency has provided free transportation to medical appointments for Southern Arizona seniors who lack family support or reliable transportation, traveling up to an hour from home to make sure appointments are kept. Antonio also speaks at local entrepreneurship programs, teaching new business owners how to protect what they are building, and for six years has helped organize an annual Mother’s Day celebration for the community. Pogosi LLC shows up in Tucson the same way it shows up for clients: with intention.
